Aine Allanson, Upholsterer

Stansted Upholstery is a friendly independently run local business. Run by myself, Aine Allanson and based in the historic Essex village of Stansted Mountfitchet. I am a AMUSF (Association of Master Upholsters and Soft Furnishers) qualified and I specialise in traditional upholstery techniques, I'm also proficient in modern techniques. My passion for furniture and design means I have the know how to breath new life into your precious piece from any period. 

My former Fine Art training in addition to the rigorous grounding I received from master upholsterers at the 'Essex Upholstery Skills Centre' means that I offer a skilled, artisan product and have a good eye for detail. I approach upholstery as an art form and appreciate the aesthetics of beautiful fabric and design.
